As men, we put on our big PPE, heavy set coats, bright orange gear, heavy boots. We use it as camourflage, as if we’ve got to be that bit stronger, a bit swearier and brasher. With our chests out. It’s not the real us! It’s a facade. It’s the only industry that is still like that.

Silent Voices (construction) is working tirelessly to raise awareness and support for the rise in the construction industries suicide rates. With over 507 men and women taking their own lives last year, We believe it is time to make a stand and make sure that everyone related to construction is looked after and the rates of suicide (which is the highest in the UK) drops and eventually disappears completely.

We will do this by gaining support through our supporters and through offering support to those that need us most. When they need us most, there will be no more silent voices anymore.

We Are On A Mission

At The Silent Voices Construction charity we are here to help, by focusing on eradicating suicides within the construction industry and promoting mental health advocacy and support, by addressing a critical issue that often goes unacknowledged.
Our commitment to raising awareness, providing counseling services, and conducting outreach programs demonstrates a holistic approach to supporting individuals in need. Breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in construction is essential for fostering a culture of compassion and understanding. Together, through the dedication and the support of the community, we can indeed build a safer and healthier future where every voice is heard and every life is valued.

Join us in our mission to ensure that no voice goes unheard and no life is lost to suicide.
